Tsuchida Sake Brewery

The Tsuchida Sake Brewery was founded in 1907 and is about 40km east of Hoshi Hot Springs. The brewery produces a category of high quality sake known as Junmai Ginjoshu, to which no distilled alcohol is added, known as Shugetsu Special,  brewed especially for the Chojyukan Ryokan. The brewer explains, “We want our customers to enjoy drinking our sake, which is the reason why we enjoy making it. Our corporate philosophy has been passed down for generations.” Here, you can indulge in Kikizake (sake tasting) and visit free of charge.
