Owakudani Volcanic Springs

Until last year, Owakudani Volcanic Springs was a must-see experience for anyone visiting Hakone and taking the famous Ropeway transportation. However, the activity levels have increased in recent months and it is currently inaccessible to visitors. The last eruption at this site was in 1170.
