From the bottom of the mountain, Amidaji Temple is a secret within the depths of the forest. As you ascend the steep path, you can witness the glory of a Japanese forest, taking in the fresh air and silence. As you venture further, rows of monuments and statues line the view, beckoning you to continue until you reach the Hydrangea Temple, a hidden gem. Hydrangea season runs between June to July every year, during which around 2,500 Hydrangea bloom around the temple site.
