A welcome oasis in the heart of Koyasan run by globetrotters Takeshi and Véronique, who offer a different take on vegetarian cuisine served in the surrounding temples. Come and enjoy their daily lunch plates featuring lentil curry, quiche and spinach pesto, or drop by for a cappuccino with tofu cheesecake. BON ON ShyA also doubles as a gallery, featuring local ceramic artists. Takeshi and Véronique are also performers of ethnic instruments. If you’re lucky, you might catch a live performance.
