Omagari National Fireworks Championships

Held on the fourth Saturday in August, the Omagari Fireworks Festival is a national championship in which top firework makers show off their best work. Originating over a century ago in 1910, this festival holds multiple awards; including prizes from the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
